WBKV Morning Man and Program Director, Bob Bonenfant, has been a prominent figure on the West Bend radio scene for over 20 years. 

Bob started part-time on WBKV in 1986, working Saturday mornings and Sunday nights.  Within a year he was hired full-time to do the morning show on what was then WBKV-FM (now WBWI-FM).  In 1991 he moved over to the AM again to do mornings and soon became Program Director.  In the mid-90's, Bob played a big part in starting up the ever-popular Saturday morning Shopping Show. 

He is very active in community events, particularly working with the Washington County Humane Society, Friends of Abused Families, Full Shelf Food Pantry, American Cancer Society, and the Joe Schmidt Memorial Hunger Stomp. He won the Golden Apple Award from the WB School district twice and in 2008 was named"A Community Hero" by the Red Cross for volunteer work in the community. The morning show was named Best in the state of Wisconsin in it's market size by the Wisconsin Broadcaster's Association in 2008.

Bob has been married for 31 years to Gail and they have one daughter, Katrina Sickler, son-in-law Jason,  grandson Landon Robert and granddaughter Kylie Marie.  And we can't
forget the wonder sheltie...Mr. Socko.

Hobbies include travel, gambling, travel, gambling, travel, gambling...and, oh yeah, he likes to feed as many birds as possible in his backyard in the Town of Trenton.
